Four learners Keith Chituni, Morongwa Makola, Sechaba Manamela and Musawenkosi Mupezeni have grown their scientific knowledge to the international front. The four won in the 39th Eskom Expo for Young Scientists International event in 2019. They were part of the 600 strong young scientific brains from other parts of South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Mexico, Turkey and Uganda
Musawenkosi Mupezeni was slapped with a cool R400 000 bursary and silver medal for creating a solar and wind electronic power plant. Keith Chituni earned a bronze medal for his scientific project. He focused on the environmentally friendly elimination or recycling of used lube oil.
Morongwa Makola and Masechaba Manamela won a highly recommended certificate for their collaboration in designing a vibrant car key.
